Malware incapacitating devices in Ukrainian govt computers: Microsoft

<p>Microsoft said that Ukrainian government agencies and non-profit organizations&#39; computer systems were infected with malware disguised as ransomware. In a security blog, Microsoft wrote MSTIC identified evidence of a destructive malware operation targeting multiple organisations in Ukraine. The malware first appeared on victim systems in Ukraine on 13 Jan 2022. The program was designed to incapacitate target devices instead of securing a ransom.</p>
