Microsoft Offers Politicians Protection Against Deepfakes

Microsoft is taking steps to combat the threat of deepfakes in politics. With the launch of Content Credentials, a digital watermarking tool, it aims to protect election integrity by helping candidates safeguard their content and prevent the spread of deceptive information. Additionally, Microsoft plans to work with political campaigns on cybersecurity and AI, endorse a bill banning AI in political ads, and provide an Election Communications Hub for governments.
