Number of ransomware cyber attacks spiked to over 1.2M per month in H12022

<p>There was an increase of over 1.2M ransomware threats every month between January and June. Over 106 widely reported ransomware outbreaks were found and examined over the course of the last 12 months. Research shows education, municipalities, healthcare, infrastructure, and finance continue to be the top five target industries. The number of service providers that have experienced a ransomware attack has increased, as per researchers.</p>
