Online identity theft is problem for at least 30% of Indians: Survey

<p>At least 58% of customers cited safeguarding financial information, including bank account and credit card numbers, as a major priority. Another 60% of Indian consumers are worried about phishing- or fake-email-related phone scams. However, 30% of consumers reported being the victims of online identity theft, while 29% of Indian consumers reported having their credit card or payment information taken.</p>
