Organized crime is responsible for 80% of breaches

<p>Ransomware attacks have increased by 13% in the last year, outpacing the previous five years combined. The DBIR for 2022 examined 23,896 security incidents, with 5,212 verified breaches. Organized crime is responsible for almost four out of every five breaches. A partner was responsible for 62 percent of System Intrusion instances.
