Over 2B user records from TikTok have been stolen: Security researchers

<p>TikTok may have had a data breach, which might have affected up to 2B user database records, as per cyber-security researchers. The finding of what was described as &quot;a breach of an insecure server that permitted access to TikTok&#39;s storage, which they suspect held personal user data&quot; was tweeted about by a number of cyber-security analysts. The Chinese corporation has since patched the issue, which would have needed a sequence of problems to be exploited.</p>
