Sharing of 'publicly available' private home addresses no longer allowed on Meta

<p>Meta is removing an exception that allowed users to disclose a person&#39;s residential address as long as it was publicly available, as advised by the Oversight Board.&nbsp;Meta&#39;s response came nearly a year after the firm sought advice from the Oversight Board on its management of private residential data. In February, the Board responded by suggesting that Meta strengthen its regulations regarding the sharing of private residential addresses due to concerns about doxxing.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
