Spike in ransomware attacks on health care sector

<p>Sophos, a cybersecurity firm conducted research that found that the healthcare sector logged a 94% rise in ransomware attacks. The reason behind this is that the data assimilated by these organisations is very critical in nature but on the other hand these firms have a shoddy state of affairs when it comes to cybersecurity or data protection making them a suitable target for such attacks.</p>
