Talent demand for over 1.5 lakh in 5G, new-age tech roles

<p>India, according to a survey, faced a 28 % skill shortage in 2021 for jobs in new-age technologies, with over 1.5 lakh openings in fields such as 5G, Cloud computing, AI/Big Data analytics, IoT, mobile app development, and robotic process automation. In the next three years, the telecom council wants to train 1 lakh employees and build ten new centers of excellence around the country.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
