Uber files leak prompted UK union to stage 24-hour strike

<p>To demand that Uber be held responsible for the data in the Uber files, the UK&#39;s ADCU organized a 24-hour strike. The hacked Uber files contain dozens of private documents that reveal how the ride-hailing service violated the law and took advantage of driver safety to grow rapidly from 2013 to 2017. The union is requesting that Uber should fully comply with the judgment on worker rights issued by the UK Supreme Court last year.</p>
