Udupi police crack ₹3L cybercrime case, SP urges people to use ‘golden hour’ principle

<p dir="ltr">Udupi police cracked a cybercrime case in Mandarthi, in which the victim was duped out of ₹3L. The culprits posed as a proprietor of a company and got the victim to transfer the amount to them by way of a fake story. The victim paid the amount to help airlift the culprit&rsquo;s injured son to Mangluru. However, the man soon realized he had been duped and reported the incident. As per the SP, they were able to freeze the bank accounts on time because the crime was reported in the golden hour.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
