UK watchdog seeks review of how government uses messaging apps like WhatsApp.

<p>An inquiry discovered &quot;inadequate data security&quot; during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Britain&#39;s data protection authority. This prompted a review of ministers&#39; and government employees&#39; usage of WhatsApp, personal emails, and other messaging apps. The study, according to the Information Commissioner&#39;s Office (ICO), should look at the &quot;systemic risks&quot; associated with using private communication channels and make sure adjustments are implemented.</p>
