US Government Agencies Hit by MoveIT Breach as Hackers List More Victims

Multiple federal agencies in the USA have fallen victim to cyberattacks exploiting a security vulnerability in the widely used file transfer tool, MOVEit Transfer. The Cybersecurity Agency has confirmed the intrusions and attributed them to the Russia-linked Clop ransomware gang. As the hackers continue to list the organizations they claim to have hacked through the MOVEit flaw, concerns about the need for robust cybersecurity measures grow.
