US, Israel launches a task force to address increasing ransomware attacks

<p>The U.S. Treasury Department announced a partnership with Israel to combat ransomware on Sunday. The two countries will be launching a task force to address cybersecurity-related concerns. The department said a memorandum of understanding supporting information related to various domains is to be developed. This announcement was followed after a virtual meeting on ransomware which was held between 30 countries at the White House.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
