US Justice dept dismantles Russian botnet targeting IoT devices

<p>The United States has dismantled the infrastructure of a Russian botnet that hacked millions of computers and other electronic devices throughout the world while acting as a proxy. The US Department of Justice, in collaboration with law enforcement partners in Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, took down the RSOCKS botnet, which had been targeting Internet of Things (IoT) devices before spreading to Android devices and traditional computers.</p>
