WhatsApp Beta Testing Wear OS app with Message Encryption

Facebook-owned messaging app WhatsApp is reportedly developing a beta version of its app for Wear OS, the operating system used by smartwatches. The Wear OS version of the app will enable users to read and reply to messages on their smartwatch without taking out their phone. According to reports, the new app will come with end-to-end encryption, similar to the smartphone version of the app. However, it is still in the beta testing phase.
