WhatsApp fixes image vulnerability after flagged by Check Point

<p>Check Point Research said it had flagged a flaw in WhatsApp&#39;s image filter, and reported it to the instant messaging platform. The flaw could have been used by attackers to read sensitive information, but has now been fixed by WhatsApp. Titled CVE-2020-1910, it was an out-of-bounds read and write vulnerability in WhatsApp&#39;s image filter, which caused the app to crash when a particular combination of filters had been applied.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
