Why India needs to change its seven-year-old cybersecurity policy

<p>India, during the lockdown period, has shown a 56% increase in malicious traffic on the internet, which includes phishing, spamming and scanning of ICT systems, particularly of critical information infrastructure. A report also said, approximately more than one-third of all cyber-attacks worldwide are launched from China. The government has announced that a new policy will be brought up as there are many gaps in the current infrastructure.</p>
