Why WhatsApp Is Now Called A Spam Factory

<p>The popular Meta-owned WhatsApp has now become a junkyard of messages as 1 of 2 Indians say that they are getting more than 4 or more spam messages each day. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India or TRAI has clearly laid the norms on unwanted calls and messages from vendors, banks, brokers with real estate services and pathology labs being the top sectors in spamming. Even then, 68% of mobile users and 95% of WhatsApp users,receive unwanted promotional messages each day.</p>
