Zoom acquires encryption service Keybase to resolve security issues

<p>Zoom has acquired Keybase, encryption and digital security service provider company, as a part of its 90-day plan to resolve security and privacy issues. Keybase, launched in 2014, specialises in securing message and file-sharing tech. It maps a user’s online identities to encryption keys to verify the identity of an account holder. It is, however, still not known how Zoom will use Keybase’s tech.</p>
