Microsoft's EU Data Boundary Will Begin Staggered Rollout In January 2023

<p>Microsoft will begin a phased rollout of an expanded data localization offering in the EU on January 1. The EU Data Boundary for the Microsoft Cloud is intended to respond to a regional rise in demand for digital sovereignty that&#39;s been amplified by legal uncertainties over EU-U.S. data flows. Microsoft&#39;s EU Data Boundary will be rolled out in three phases. The first phase will be customer data, with the second and third completed by 2023 and 2024 respectively.&nbsp;</p>
