Tesla Proposes Unified Charging Standard for Electric Vehicles

Tesla is advocating for a unified charging standard for electric vehicles (EVs) known as the "Tesla Network for Advanced Charging Standards" (NACS). The proposed standard aims to create a seamless charging experience by allowing EVs from different manufacturers to use Tesla's Supercharger network. By collaborating with automakers like GM, Ford, Rivian, and others, Tesla hopes to establish a widely adopted charging infrastructure in states like Washington and Texas.
