Facebook collects data from retail stores to target users: Report

<p>Facebook has reportedly teamed up with top offline and online retailers to collect customer&rsquo;s data and use it to target them with the specified ads. Retail companies are sending Facebook customer&rsquo;s names, phone numbers and email addresses attached to what products they have purchased. &nbsp;A spokesperson from Facebook said retailers are able to reach their customers with ads on Facebook by sharing offline events, like an in-store purchase.</p>
