India's trade deficit more than doubles to $27.98B as of August

<p>India&#39;s exports increased by 1.62% to $33.92B in August, but the country&#39;s trade imbalance increased by more than twice that amount annually to $27.98B. August 2021 saw a $11.71B trade deficit. The value of imports increased by 37.28% to $61.9B in August of this year. Exports increased by 17.68% to $193.51B between April and August 2022&ndash;2023. The five-month span of current fiscal year&#39;s imports increased by 45.74% to $318B.</p>
