$341 mn investment by Micro VC’s in Indian startups during 2018-20
<p>Micro VC’s are said to have invested $341 mn in over 566 startups in 730 deals during the last two years according to a survey. The number of micro VC’s in India has increased from 24 in 2014 to about 88 in 2020. There are VCs with an active fund size of less than $30 mn, or angel networks ranging from $500 to $2 mn. In 2020 six micro VC’s were announced, including 9 Unicorns Accelerator Fund, Waterbridge Ventures’ FastForward programme and PointOne Capital.</p> <p> </p>
