$55 M fine levied on Apple for in-app purchases for Dutch dating apps may begin to accelerate

<p>If the Dutch competition commission rejects Apple's newest plan to fulfil its demands for dating apps, the firm might face a much higher monthly fine. Apple has been fined a maximum of $55M USD by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) for failing to comply with its decision. There are no details about what Apple's new proposal includes, but the firm hasn't been the most flexible when it comes to following the ACM's orders. This is Apple's tenth penalty.</p>
