Amazon Denies Financing North East Organization Practicing Religious Conversion

<p>Amazon India refuted claims made on social media that it backed a group converting underprivileged children to religion in northeastern India. The firm responded after several tweets sparked outrage by alleging that a portion of Amazon customers&#39; purchases were donated to the missionary evangelical organisation All India Mission, which aims to convert Indian youth to Christianity. Amazon also has been asked to appear before NCPCR on&nbsp;November&nbsp;1&nbsp;to&nbsp;address&nbsp;the rumours.</p>
