Amazon Eyes Devices Group As It Undertakes Broad Cost Cutting

<p>The Wall Street Journal reported this week that Amazon&#39;s gadgets division might be the next to be slashed as the corporation prepared for additional macroeconomic turbulence. According to internal papers, &quot;Amazon&#39;s leadership is closely assessing its Alexa business,&quot; according to the report. Many of the cuts made thus far have been on longer-tail items. Gadgets, on the other hand, is a mature segment for the corporation, containing large range of home devices.</p>
