Ant Group Veteran joins Redeem for SXSW Verify VIP Dinner

<p>Ant Financial Services Group&#39;s former CEO, Eric Jing, announced the launch of his new venture, Redeem, at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival. Redeem will use blockchain technology to enable consumers to trade in their rewards points for cryptocurrency. The company also plans to offer a verification service that enables brands to validate the authenticity of influencers and celebrities. Redeem is currently in beta and has already raised $20 million in funding.</p>
