Apple Begins Issuing $100 M Fund to Developers Impacted by its Store Restrictions

<p>Apple has begun paying its App Store developers from a cash reserve of $100 M that was established as part of a class-action settlement. In August 2021, the tech giant agreed to resolve a lawsuit filed by US developers who were dissatisfied with App Store restrictions. As part of the settlement, the business consented to establish the Apple Smart Developer Assistance Fund, which would provide cash payments to impacted developers, according to AppleInsider.</p>
