Apple claims startup hired employees to steal chip secrets

<p>Apple has filed a lawsuit against a company for allegedly stealing trade secrets in order to create a competing chip lineup. The lawsuit named Rivos of Santa Clara and two former Apple employees. It claimed that the firm ran a &quot;coordinated campaign&quot; to recruit Apple employees and encourage them to copy confidential documents before leaving. Apple claimed that over 40 of its engineers were involved, many of whom were familiar with its system-on-a-chip designs.</p>
