Automattic invests $4.6M into New Vector’s Matrix

<p>Automattic, a publishing platform developer firm, invested $4.6M into New Vector to improve the functionality of Matrix. New Vector&rsquo;s Matrix, being a secure and open protocol chat ecosystem, is widely used by government and other reputed companies for communication. Following this investment, Automattic is expected to ditch Slack and use Riot (Slack rival), which also is a New Vector product.&nbsp;</p>
