<p>Avaya, a US-based supplier of communication services, has asked the Indian government to relax rules on the &quot;Make in India&quot; initiative for multinational software companies. According to Nidal Abou-Ltaif, President of Avaya International, the Indian market has historically been significant to Avaya and continues to be one of the company&#39;s top markets in the Asia Pacific area.&nbsp;Avaya has three R&amp;D centers in India - Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Pune.</p>
