Blackstone to acquire data center operator QTS Realty Trust in $6.7 bn deal 

<p>Blackstone Group will acquire data center operator QTS Realty Trust in a $6.7 bn deal. The deal will cost Blackstone around $10 bn, considering QTS&#39; existing debt. The operator has over&nbsp; 7 mn square feet of data center space spreading across North America and Europe. Blackstone Group&#39;s infrastructure unit and non-traded real estate investment trust will pay $78 per share for QTS, which is a premium of about 21% to QTS&#39; closing price last Friday.</p>
