Bolt scraps $1.5 billion deal to acquire crypto firm Wyre

<p>Bolt Financial said that it has canceled its $1.5B acquisition of Wyre Payments due to the declining prices of the cryptocurrency and fintech industries. This year, investors&#39; confidence has been negatively impacted by worries about an impending recession and a chill in the equities markets, which has put pressure on high-flying tech values. Bolt said it will keep working with Wyre and added that remaining independent would let it concentrate on its core competencies.</p>
