By 2030, digital economy to see exponential growth to $800B: FM

<p>On the back of rising internet service and income, India&#39;s digital economy is expected to grow rapidly to $800B by 2030, according to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. She told the IIT Bombay Alumni Association that India has over 6,300 fintechs, with 28% in investment tech, 27% in payments, 16% in lending, and 9% in banking infrastructure, and over 20% in other disciplines. &nbsp;As a result, they are dispersed among several tasks rather than being concentrated, she added.</p>
