Captain Fresh reaches $500M valuation in just three months

<p>Animal protein retail startup, Captain Fresh has doubled their valuation to $500M. The startup is beginning to expand deep into the local markets as well as expanding overseas. A latest funding round added $50M which was led by existing backers like Prosus Ventures and Tiger Global. This takes the total funds raised to $100M and the startup is already in talks to add another $10M. The company was valued at $200M in December but now it is said to be valued over $500M.</p>
