China becomes the largest 5G market as 110M users signup for 5G plans

<p>President of CAICT announced over 110M users in China have signed up for 5G plans, making it the largest 5G market in terms of user size. China has sold over 93M units of 5G phones this year so far. The country&rsquo;s 5G ambition is a multi-pronged effort among the govt, network carriers, telecom equipment makers, device makers and software developers. The govt plans to add an average of 600K 5G base stations every week, by the end of 2020.</p>
