<p>China proposed new rules to increase online advertising oversight. The draft emphasised that ads should not affect internet use or mislead users. Platform operators need to establish a system that would register and review advertisers and ads, use its information services to monitor and inspect the content of ads. Ads aimed at minors that are not beneficial to physical and mental health will be banned. These proposed rules are open for public comment until 25 Dec.<br /> </p>
