Chipmakers See A Large Drop In Demand As Recession Continues

<p>The world&#39;s largest memory chip making company, Samsung reported a 32% decline in operating income. The decreasing demand for consumer electronics is smashing the companies, along with the increasing prices of shipping and material costs. The semiconductor industry is also facing difficulties because of the export restrictions from the US government. That&#39;s hindering business from AMD to Nvidia Corp in the globe&#39;s largest semiconductor market.</p>
