Cisco to acquire Acacia for $ 4 bn

<p>Cisco had agreed to acquire Acacia, a component supplier and maker of high-speed optical interconnect technology for networking systems for $115 per share in cash or approx $4.5 bn to offer its customer world-class coherent optical solutions to power the Internet for the future. The acquisition would be completed by March 2021. Cisco, in July 2019, offered to acquire Acacia for $70 a share or $2.6 bn.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
