Cruise starts mapping city's street as part of preparations for Dubai's robotaxi launch in 2023

<p>Cruise has begun preparation to offer autonomous driving in Dubai. In order to launch services in 2023, Cruise has deployed two of its autonomous Chevrolet Bolt electric vehicles to Dubai to start mapping the city. As part of UAE ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum&#39;s plan to transition 25% of all transportation journeys in Dubai to self-driving trips by 2030, Cruise and the RTA signed a partnership agreement last April to launch a robotaxi service there.</p>
