Crypto exchanges halt entry in India due to lack of regulation clarity

<p>Budget 2022 saw several regulation announcements concerning crypto, notably a 30% tax on all transactions. Global cryptocurrency exchanges are still seeking clarification on these regulations to decide on crucial steps to expand or enter the Indian market. The government has decided against banning crypto in India and chose to regulate it instead. Coinbase said that India is one of the top three markets outside of the US and they are waiting to see the outcome of the bill.</p>
