Delta Air suspends ICT projects, 1,300 vendor jobs impacted

<p>Delta Air Lines is reported to have suspended ICT projects following the slowdown caused by the global spread of COVID-19. The decision would impact over 1,300 jobs in its outsourced partners -- TCS, Cognizant and IBM. The US-based carrier is giving its outsourced employees an &ldquo;opportunity to be placed with other clients.&rdquo; &nbsp;Airlines, along with all travel and hospitality industry could see a decline of 45% in growth due to the pandemic.</p>
