Digital Payment adoption boosted by Chinese smartphones: PhonePe report

<p>Walmart-backed FinTech firm PhonePe has released a report stating that 4 out of top 5 smartphone brands used for digital transactions in India are Chinese. The top two brands, Vivo and Xiaomi, take up nearly 45% of the consumer base. About 80M customers who use PhonePe have a Xiaomi phone, while 65M have a Vivo one. The third highest was Samsung, with 61M users, while Oppo and RealMe had 42M and 24M users respectively.</p>
