Disney is investing heavily on sports rights, metaverse

<p>Disney CEO Bob Chapek recently discussed the company&#39;s future vision, in a recent encounter. Chapek discussed his concept of a metaverse and what it means for Disney to use the technology in the future. He also confirmed today that the company is bidding for the NFL Sunday Ticket, showing his commitment to expanding the company&#39;s sports streaming portfolio. Sporting events remain the most popular draw on television, accounting for 95 of the top 100 live broadcasts in 2021.</p>
