DoT Initiatives Include Waiving NOCC Fees Resulting in Significant Savings: BIF
<p>Department of Telecommunications' recent decision to waive annual Network Operation & Control Centre fees has been welcomed by the BIF. The removal of the satellite antennae's Mandatory Performance Verification Testing will cause great cost savings for satellite services and broadcast players. Broadband India Forum said this move will pave way for self-verification and lead to annual savings for satellite and broadcast of approx Rs 120 Cr.</p>
