EdTech Platform Unacademy Cuts 10% Jobs In Another Round Of Layoffs

<p>SoftBank-backed educational technology unicorn Unacademy has laid off 10% of its workforce, or around 350 people, in the third wave of layoffs in less than a year. In an internal communication to staff, Unacademy cofounder and CEO Gaurav Munjal cited the necessity to decrease expenses amid difficult economic conditions as the cause for the layoffs. Impacted employees will be receiving communication within 48 hours from the human resource department.</p>
