Elon Musk becomes the sole owner of Twitter

<p>Elon Musk&rsquo;s offer of $54.20 per share or approximately $44B has been accepted by the Twitter board as a result of which Musk has become the sole owner of the microblogging site. The offer was unanimously approved by the board and will be completed by the end of the year. The board members had to reconsider the deal as Musk&rsquo;s confirmation to the SEC that he had raised about $46.5B in funding for the acquisition. Musk also met shareholders privately to persuade them.&nbsp;</p>
