Ex-Meta crypto chief launches Bitcoin payments startup

<p>David Marcus, the former CEO of Messenger and a Paypal executive, revealed some facts about his new firm Lightspark. The startup will be based on Bitcoin&#39;s Lightning network, which enables speedier and less expensive transactions. With support from Thrive Capital, Coatue, Felix Capital, Ribbit Capital, Matrix Partners, and Zeev Ventures, Lightspark has raised undisclosed funding from a16z Crypto and Paradigm.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
